The Power of Suggestion
It seems that my "Big Brother" position is about to be augmented by another employee. The current "trainee" does not appear to be working out. Part of my dilemma is that he is a good person, but just can't seem to get the gist of what we need him to do. He, allegedly, has many years of experience in this line of work, but I wonder if he has innocently "padded" his experience. Oh well, we will see by the end of the week.
Conversely, my current co-worker has accidentally put his a$$ in a sling over some comments made about the "unprofessional" actions of some other co-workers. The problem lies in the fact that he spoke his mind about the situation, and some people (namely the incompetant co-workers affected by this) have taken it quite personally. I would have liked to have seen him utilize a little more tact, ok ANY tact, but regardless, it is just turning into a giant "manhood" contest.
